Hello, nice to meet you!

"I like to start my notes to you as if we're already in the middle of a conversation. I pretend that we're the oldest and dearest friends -- as opposed to what we actually are, people who don't know each others names..."

The sunrise of my blog endeavor begins with a quote from You've Got Mail, because I have been procrastinating, unable to come up with a fantabulous way to begin. Soooo... I'm just going to jump in and show you some things from around my place.

Raspberry vine and purple basil. Well, it's supposed to be purple, but it's not getting enough sun. Twisty vines are awesome!

The table was a curb-side giveaway!

Escargot begonia... I love it when nature gives us spirals.

Faery wing begonia peeking out from a bit of beehive jew...

Some bloodgrass... because you never know when you will need a vampire cure.

Hagstones for protection....

That's all for now, so come back soon! I'll be posting each weekday.

This was a great start to Your blog!
I like the begonias and used to seel rather many of those escargot begonias and faery wings too (but over here we call them Angel wings) when I had a gardencentre.
I´ll be back!
Have a great day now!

Hi Christ, I foulnd your blog from another blog site I follow, The Cottage by the Cranelake. Welcome to blogging. Your profile doesn't tell about you, so wondering about your location. We are on the VA eastern shore and formerly lived in NJ. We call our house The Frog & PenguINN and our names are Beatrice and Grenville (for blogging purposes). Please feel free to stop in anytime as we like back door drop-ins.

Hello! So glad to have found your blog- am subbing. Wanna exchange links on our blogrolls?

Your garden makes me jealous- I live in a city apartment with no yard or balcony!
